When the 20-year old model Arizona Muse exploded on the fashion scene earlier this year, I was floored by how unique, striking and fresh she looked. Seeing her pose for a Vogue fashion spread with her cropped coif of wavy, beach-perfect hair and her arresting dark eyes and thick, thick eyebrows, all I knew was that I wanted to look like this girl. If you aren't already up to speed on this fascinating model, I would consider joining in on Muse Fever: Arizona Muse is currently ranked by models.com as one of the top ten working models, has walked for countless runway shows and has posed for numerous top fashion magazines this season. Although my bone-straight hair would never support such voluminous waves as hers and though I couldn’t pull off such a short haircut, I was soon letting my eyebrows grow out like hers, and loving the change. Models from the Proenza Schouler spring show to the Estee Lauder spring beauty campaign are all sporting boyish, defined brows. Even startlets like Sienna Miller have opted to grow their brows thicker. Although it doesn’t look good to completely neglect your brows, letting them run wild like a patch of kudzu, leaving your eyebrows a little fuller than normal can give your face more definition and honestly looks more natural than having very thin eyebrows. Also, there is much less maintenance required if you're giving your tweezers a rest. Think of all the time you can gain by avoiding the constant plucking and grooming! Want to join in on this trend? For tips on how to achieve fuller, but still groomed brows, check out http://tipsforthickeyebrows.webs.com/. Thoughts? How do you feel about thicker eyebrows? Are they a look you'd want to try or a look you'd rather avoid? We'd love to hear from you. |
