Bipasha Basu's mother makes modeling debut by hitting the ramp with her actress daughter Bipasha Basu. Bips walks the ramp along with the mother for a jewelry brand that she is endorsing. For the first time, Bipasha's mother was seen walking the ramp and it was all for a noble cause.

An overjoyed Bipasha revealed, "I walked the ramp with my mother for the very first time for Gitanjali in association with Beti, against female foeticide."

supporting the cause, Bipasha added, "In our country the strength of a daughter is underestimated. I come from a family of three sisters where all three of us were given every kind of opportunity and encouragement by our parents!"

Supermodel turned actress Bipasha commented about her mom's ramp walk, "She for a first timer was so confident! I was very nervous though" concluded Bipasha.

Well, the actress has her priorities very clear. The latest news has it that, Kats has turned down the offer by director Ayan Mukherjee, where she would be seen opposite the Kapoor lad, as she did not have dates to spare.

The lady has blocked her dates for director Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger. She will be seen acting opposite, Salman Khan. After Salman, she will move on to Shahrukh Khan, for another YRF film.

Producer Karan Johar, however, is still keen on working with Kats. He has planned to rope in the actress for another film to be directed by the Kurbaan director Rensil D'Silva next year. It is heard that Kats has expressed her interest in the film, too.

Amitabh Bachchan, a true legend in Bollywood is all set to play the lead in Ashutosh Gowariker film that goes on floors in 2012.

Buzz has it that Big B's role in the film is on the same lines as that of James Bond. But according to a source close to the project, "No, it's not a James Bond type of role. Amitji simply will be seem playing a detective in the film." "Amitji loved the story and his role," added the source.

The film is yet to be titled and as of now, Gowariker is busy exploring various locations, for the shoot.

Well, we wonder, if this ones too gonna be the historic types!!!

Well, Kats will be seen grooving to an item song in Sallu's upcoming flick 'Bodyguard'. Reportedly, the item song is all going to over shadow 'Sheila' and 'Munni'. As seen in the pic above, Kats looks stunning, sizzling and super sexy in a black choli and ghagra.

Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the song is titled "Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard". News has it that Shera, Sallu's real life bodyguards will also make a special appearance in the song.

Both Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra are high in sex quotient. When this two leading ladies of Bollywood will come together to shake their legs then bombardment is obviously going to be tremendous. Ganesh Hegde has roped the two beauties for his new hip-hop album, 'Let's Party'.

Both the actresses have been styled in two different ways. The shooting took place at a studio in Mumbai. The song, `Mind Blowing` took four days to shoot. The song has been sung, styled and choreographed by Hegde himself.

"Both Bipasha and Priyanka epitomise all the qualities I`m raving about in the song. I was with each of them for a day and shooting was a breeze," Hegde said in a statement.

Talking about the look and styling of the actresses, he said: "Bipasha sports a fringe, gypsy hoops and zippered dress. The fringe was Bipasha`s idea. She fell in love with the song instantly and wanted a look that was different from anything you`ve seen on screen before. She looks like a rockstar!

"Priyanka`s also in black, but her look is more Beyonce and her `attitude` inherent to her is on show."

After the recent success of his movies, Salman Khan has hiked his price to Rs 50 cores. The actor who was charging 40 crores for a movie will now take home a whopping amount of Rs 50 crores.

Salman Khan has not only hiked his fees but also become very choosy when it comes to director. When he signs a film, he also gives suggestion of suitable directors to the makers.

"Salman is not only quoting a fee close to Rs 50 crore, he is also 'recommending' (Ready: appointing) directors for these films. Like, for the T Series project Salman has put forward the names of two directors and has asked producer Bhushan Kumar to choose from one of them. Furthermore, he insisted on Sonakshi Sinha for Kick and now he's recommending Zarine Khan to his prospective producers," a source told film expert Subhash K Jha.

Filmmaker Bhushan Kumar confirms that Sallu has re-structured his fee, "When Salman bhai did Ready the film industry was facing a huge financial crunch. But he agreed to cut down his price from Rs 40 crore to Rs 17 crore. This was the only way we could have made Ready at that time. Now the market has changed for the entire film industry. So, we are currently re-negotiating with him for our next film."

Sonakshi Sinha has been asked by her 'Joker' director, Shirish Kunder, to lose weight, for her upcoming film, 'Joker'.

Sonakshi, apart from being the lead lady in the film, will also feature in an item number. And so, for the item song, the director has asked the actress to shed kilos. He wants her to look as sexy and sensuous as Katrina Kaif did in 'Sheila Ki Jawani'. The song will be choreographed by Farah Khan.

According to a popular tabloid, when asked Shirish on Jr Sinha's weight issue, he said, "That's not true. I love her the way she is!"

Said the sources, "As soon as fans heard that Katrina was shooting for Dhunki at Agra Fort, a crowd of 1000 plus gathered within a few minutes! All the crowd and mob shots shown in the song are authentic - the only way Katrina could safely leave the venue at the end of the shoot was when a team of police was called to escort her out and take her away in a police van."

Kareena Kapoor, talks about Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine.She says, "The whole world knows that Heroine is my movie, that it was written for me and Madhur was in talks with me. I couldn't do it because of date problems so he moved on. What happened in between is not my concern" .

"I don't have any dates till January next year so I'm not going to sign on any movie till October. I'm really keen to work with Madhur but you'll have to wait for an official announcement," says the Kapoor girl.

News : Abhishek Bachchan requests for paternity leave

One of the most awaited films, Dhoom 3, a Yash Raj Film, has been postponed. Well, the film that was supposed to go on floors in November will now be postponed to December.

The reason being Abhishek Bachchan. Well, the soon to be mommy, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is expected to deliver sometime around November and so Abhi has asked for some family time.

According to an insider, "Yash Raj had Abhishek's dates from November onwards. But Aishwarya is due in November and Abhishek wants to spend some quality time with his baby and wife before getting back to work. Hence, he requested YRF to postpone the shoot for a month or two."

The source adds, "Bachchans are family to Yash Chopra. He immediately agreed to give Abhishek some time off. He asked the makers of Dhoom 3 to begin shooting the film only after Abhishek is ready.

Abhishek in turn has agreed to start shooting mid-December. Now depending on the availability of the locations and technicians, Dhoom 3 will go on floors in December this year or January next year."

"Aishwarya is an integral part of the Dhoom franchise. Her contribution in Dhoom 2 cannot be forgotten. Yash Chopra is well aware of that. That is one more reason why Abhishek's request was respected," adds the source.

However, according to the YRF spokesperson, "Well, our schedule of Dhoom 3 has still not been finalised. So, it's a little premature to be discussing a postponement. And yes, most certainly we will keep in mind the arrival of joy in the Bachchan household while planning Abhishek's schedule."

Speaking about Aamir Khan's dates, the source reveals, "Well, Aamir comes in only around April or May next year. As of now, he is busy preparing his character which is that of a gymnast."
