Imran had a silent crush on Kareena

Imran Khan, who stars along Kareena in Karan Johar's 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu', says she was part of his boyhood dreams. (Bollywood Hungama) Actor Imran Khan, who is smitten by co-actress Kareena Kapoor's beauty, says she was part of his boyhood dreams.

The duo would be seen in Dharma Productions 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu', a romantic-comedy. In debutant director Shakun Batra's film, Imran would be romancing Kareena for the first time.

"She (Kareena) is the most beautiful actress I have worked with. I found her beautiful right from her first film 'Refugee'," Imran said.

Even before Imran became an actor he had a huge crush on the top actress.

"I could not articulate my feelings to her...I nursed a silent crush. When we started working together in this film we got along really well," Imran said.

"I observed her closely while we were shooting and even took her pictures without her knowing it," he said.

'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' is all set to hit cinema houses on February 10.

Arbaaz Khan and Anurag Kashyap who fought over Anurag's brother and Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, are friends again

Arbaaz Khan and Anurag Kashyap, who locked horns on Twitter last year, cleared their misunderstandings at Farhan Akhtar's surprise birthday party in Mumbai. "Met Anurag Kashyap at Farhan's party after his Twitter outburst. Had a long chat. All izz well now," Arbaaz tweeted Monday. The party took place Sunday midnight. Arbaaz also posted a picture of the two of them in a side-hug pose with each other, displaying happy times. The Twitter war between the two filmmakers began after it was announced that Arbaaz will direct the sequel of 2010 blockbuster Dabangg, helmed by Anurag's brother, Abhinav Kashyap. According to reports, Anurag had felt Abhinav was asked to leave the project. So in anger, he posted negative comments about Khan brothers – Arbaaz and Salman Khan. What followed was an exchange of bitter retaliation. Once Anurag learnt that Abhinav had opted out of Dabangg 2 himself, peace prevailed. But it is only now that Anurag and Arbaaz have buried the hatchet. Dabangg 2 features Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, and southern star Prakash Raj as the villain. The film will release towards the end of 2012.

Film producers are either tweaking their films' release dates or trying to source actual wedding footage, to best profit from their lead actress Genelia's Feb 3 wedding

A wedding may be a happy occasion meant to be cherished, but in Bollywood it is also an opportunity.

According to sources, there has been a mad rush to cash in on the Genelia d'Souza-Riteish Deshmukh's wedding on February 3, ever since the two decided the date.

The actress' much-delayed film with Harman Baweja It's My Life, which was scheduled to release on January 13, is now being postponed to either March or April to project it as her first 'post-shaadi' film.

Her other film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, in which she stars opposite boyfriend Deshmukh, and which will be released three weeks after her wedding, will now be promoted as her 'shaadi' film. According to sources, the film's director Kumar Taurani is now trying to arrange if the wedding's video footage can be used as end-credits for his film.

Taurani, however, denies the claim.

According to a source, "Surely if Kumar Taurani can project Tere Naal... as Genelia's shaadi film, Boney Kapoor (producer of It's My Life) can project his as Genelia's post-shaadi film."

When contacted, Anees Bazmi, the director of It's My Life, denied that the actress' wedding has anything to do with the delay of his film. "We're currently in the post-production and mixing stage. The film won't be ready in January. Instead, we will release it in March or April."

The film is reportedly the remake of Telugu blockbuster Bomarillu and has been in the pipeline for three years now.

Salman Khan has hosted two seasons of Bigg Boss, but now, as per reports the actor is not interested in hosting the sixth season.

The reasons for this decision are many; one of the main reason is that Salman is getting linked with Mahek Chahal big time.

He is also accused of controlling the show completely.

Profitable actors

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been named the most profitable actors of the Hindi film industry in India and abroad respectively by ETC Bollywood Business Awards.

Actress Kareena Kapoor, who featured in "Bodyguard" and "RA.One" in 2011 opposite the two actors, has been titled the most profitable actor in the female category.

"Receiving an award wherein you are being adjudged considering the economic quotient as a cornerstone for mapping the success gives you a sense of pride.

I've always maintained that commercial success is as important as the critical success of a movie. A commercially successful movie pays evidence to the fact that viewers loved watching your movie, " Kareena said in a press statement.

Salman's "Bodyguard", the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film by the same name, was titled the top grosser of the year.

If you have seen the promos of the forthcoming Kareena Kapoor-Imran Khan romcom Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, you would know of the scene where the actress shows her admiration for the young Khan's behind, rating it an eight out of a ten.

Apparently, the trailer has been such a hit, with many youngsters talking about it on Twitter, that the film's producers have decided to make it central in their marketing schemes.

According to sources, a photo shoot is now being organised, where Kapoor will pinch Khan's butt.

Will the censor allow Priyanka's topless act?

The Indian censor board is soon going to have its hands full.

The makers of Indo-Italian co-production Gangor, which has already created quite a buzz in the festival circuit and is based on Mahashweta Devi's short story Choli Ke Peeche, are reportedly trying to release the film in India by March.

Among others, there are two topless scenes of model-actress Priyanka Bose who plays the protagonist Gangor, and another where tribal women, in a mass protest, take off their blouses.

According to the producer of the film Vinod Kumar, these scenes are crucial and have been shot in the most aesthetic way possible.

"The censor board should appreciate our level of commitment. The film is about the freedom of expression and we won't mind an 'A' certificate."

The film's Director Of Photography Marco Onorato earlier made the well-known Italian mafia film Gommorah.

Talking about the controversial scenes, Kumar added that the sequence featuring the protest forms the climax of the film where they demonstrate against police brutality. The activist leading the protest is apparently named Medha in the film, and her character is based on the activist Medha Patkar.

"Yes there is a lip-lock in the film, you will know all about it when the movie releases," said Puri. Apparently, the scene has won the approval of Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar too. "We showed the film to Namrata a couple of days ago, she said she enjoyed watching it," Puri added. The scene lasts for more than a minute, it is heard.
