The Designer
When the rest of us were settling into dorm rooms and shotgunning Natty Light, Danielle DiFerdinando had already clinched her first order from Bergdorf Goodman. At just 18, the talented designer was well on her way. She studied fashion at FIT, then hightailed it to Europe and immersed herself in the craft. Apprenticeships at Be & D, Gucci, and Anthony Luciano provided the springboard for going solo in 2006. Within a year, Neiman, Saks, and Nordstrom joined Bergdorf on DiFerdinando’s been-there, sold-that list. Wonder why the purses look familiar?
