What: Up All Night
Why: A sitcom about spankin’ new parents with serious comedic pedigrees (Will Arnett, Christina Applegate). Not to mention, Maya Rudolph co-stars.
Channels: Mr. Mom as foulmouthed and frantic as he actually would have been.
Set the DVR: NBC. Wed., 8 p.m. EST.
What: Bedlam
Why: The BBC series hops across the pond with spooky tales from an insane asylum that’s been converted into a posh apartment building.
Channels: Gothika moving into Melrose Place.
Set the DVR: BBC America, premieres Oct. 1. Sat., 10 p.m. EST.
What: Enlightened
Why: Rage-addled Amy breaks downs, Zens it all together, and returns starry-eyed and ready to cure corporate hell.
Channels: Erin Brockovich after 28 Days of yoga.
Set the DVR: HBO, premieres Oct. 10. Mon., 9:30 p.m. EST.
What: Grimm
Why: Two dark-side-of-fairy-tales go prime time this season, but we put our money on this one if only for the lack of tulle gowns and promise of homicide investigations.
Channels: Enchanted landing a gig at the Law & Order precinct.
Set the DVR: NBC, premieres Oct. 21. Fri., 9 p.m. EST.
