Deepika Padukone to fight for Ranbir Kapoor

Ayan Mukherji's next Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani casts the ex-lovers Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, but it's going to be a fierce battle for the Desi Boyz gal. As there is going to be one more actor who is going to fight for Ranbir's love in this triangular love story. While the makers of the film are keeping mum on who would be cast in that role, we know it's going to be a tough fight for Dippy to win back her lover in this romantic flick. It seems whenever the dishy couple got paired up they had to go through their fair share of hiccups before the happily ever after. Remember, in their last film together Bachna Aae Haseeno, Ranboo's character had to ask forgiveness from all the girls whose hearts he had broken, before Dippy accepts his love. Looks like this time around it's Dippy's turn to do all the crying and fighting for love!

Model, VJ, actress Pooja Misrra, who created waves as a participant in Bigg Boss Season 5 is all set to burn the big screen with her scintillating moves.

She will be seen in veteran director Chandra Barot's upcoming film. Barot has earlier directed Amitabh Bachchan in the classic superhit Don.

The film is being produced by Deepa Barot and Anup Jalota. The song, a climax item track, has been composed by Nikhil Kamat.

Besides having bagged this prestigious project, Pooja has also signed two more films with celebrated industry veterans.

The lissome babe will also be seen doing a dance number at the grand finale of Bigg Boss Season 5.

Looks like Pooja has her hands completely full right at the start of year 2012!

'Pregnant' Vidya Balan says she will definitely marry but not now

Vidya Balan stepped out in her character's pregnant look for the trailer launch of her next flick, Kahaani, held at a suburban multiplex yesterday.

Though she chose a maternity gown with two sweaters, her footwear - wedges - looked ekdum unsightly. Heavily pregnant women avoid heels, na?

Anyways, she was all dressed up and ready waiting on time for the media to arrive! She was also at her wittiest best.

When asked about not doing item numbers, she said, "Main to item girl play kar chuki hun, number kya cheez hai."

As part of preparing for her preggers character, she would observe her pregnant sister. She also remembered the pregnant walk she and her pals would imitate for fun during her college days.

I'll definitely marry, but not thinking about it now

"My career is going good. I am very happy. Emotionally and mentally I am in a very happy space, by god's grace. I am not thinking about marriage as of now, but I'm sure a right time will come for it also.

I believe in the institution of marriage. I will not ignore it for a longer duration, but yeah, for now, I am keeping it aside. I will definitely get married," said Vidya.

The actress is said to be dating CEO of UTV movies Siddharth Roy Kapoor. Vidya admits it's the greed for good roles that keeps her on her toes.

"I am a very greedy actor. I want to play different people, I want to do different kinds of films. Even if it means that the hero is the protagonist, as long as I have enough to do in the film I am more than happy doing it," the 33-year-old actress said during the launch of the first look of her new film "Kahaani".

"I am very happy with the kind of films being made today and that I am getting a chance to work in them. They are appealing to the audience as well, which is most important. Women-oriented films are being made since years, but it is only today that they are tasting success," Vidya added while sporting a fake baby bump during the launch.

She is not restricting herself to women-oriented films, says the actress who has done films like "Parineeta", "Ishqiya" and "Paa".

"I have not made any boundaries or limitations for myself. I have not dictated myself that if the script is women oriented only then I will work in it or anything. If the film is good, if the role is good I will definitely do it," she said.

75 lakh for a performance? Vidya seems to be in high demand

Buzz is that the actress is suddenly being sought out by event organisers, offering her Rs 50 to 75 lakh to perform at shows

With the start of the season of awards shows, Vidya Balan's name has appeared on the list of most wanted actresses to perform at these events.

In fact, an industry veteran reveals that till last year, Vidya was never even considered for such shows. Our source points out, "While Vidya is a very good actress, she was far from being the glamour girl.

She was not perceived as 'oomphy' as Kareena, Katrina, Deepika, Priyanka or even Anushka when it comes to performing on stage. "

However, the stupendous success of The Dirty Picture has turned the scales in Vidya's favour.

As our informer says, "Apart from being approached to perform on the 'Ooh la la' and 'Naaka mukka' tracks, she's also being offered a handsome fee, averaging to about Rs 50 lakh per event. "

Mohammed Morani, one of the top event organisers confirms that Vidya is very much in demand this year. "A chartbusting song and a super hit film is what is required of a star for the award functions. "

Rani miffed for clicking her and Aditya's photo

Rani Mukherjee who always remains tight-lipped about her relationship with Yash Raj head Aditya Chopra turned red hot when paparazzi clicked her photo with Aditya Chopra at the Mumbai airport while they were returning from a secret holiday.

Rani has allegedly asked for a probe against those who invade her privacy and sent a wrong signal.

"Rani is furious and has allegedly complained to the highest airport officials, regarding an informer (perhaps an official placed inside the airport), who tipped a set of freelance photographers about the arrivals of the celebrities," said a source.

Rani who always keeps her lips seal when the question of her affair with Aditya comes was caught red-handed with Aditya while returning from a secret holiday. She vented her anger over airport authorities and urge to take strict actions.

"Rani has alleged that it was intruding into one's personal life and also that leaking one's travel itinerary and flight details were actually against the national security act and the person should to tracked and stern action should be taken against the perpetrators," concluded a B -town source.

Confirmed: Saif, Kareena to tie the knot in April

2012 will see a royal Bollywood wedding of Nawab of Pataudi and actor Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The duo has already started planning for the big day. They are waiting for 'Agent Vinod' to hit the silver screen on 23rd March. The highly awaited royal wedding will take place anytime around April.

a source said, "'Agent Vinod' is Saif Ali Khan's first production venture. So Kareena and Saif were waiting to complete the shooting for this film and now shoot is over and the couple has left for their holidays. After coming from holidays they have planned promotional work and soon after March 23 they will tie the knot in the first week of April and then Saif-Kareena will go for their honeymoon."

Apparently, April is confirmed but the exact marriage day is yet to be revealed. "Kareena doesn't want it to make delay anymore. She even started for planning for her big day," added the source.
